1. Scope of this disclosure

This hub page (https://shipcostlab.com) currently contains no affiliate links. It is a free directory of standalone shipping-cost calculators, each deployed on its own subdomain. This disclosure exists because some of those standalone tools in the ShipCost Lab portfolio are monetised, and we want the policy for the whole portfolio stated in one place.

2. How tools in this portfolio are monetised

• Paid downloads: if a tool ever offers one, its price, what it contains and its payment provider are stated on that tool before any purchase is possible.
• Affiliate links: where a specific tool includes affiliate links (for example to Amazon or to a shipping-software provider), that tool carries its own disclosure on the page where the links appear, and the owner of this site (José Manuel Volante González) may receive compensation from the seller for purchases made through those links. It costs you nothing extra and does not change the price you pay. This is disclosed in line with the FTC's endorsement guides (16 CFR Part 255) and EU transparency rules (Directive 2005/29/EC).

3. How this affects our content

Calculations, comparisons and recommendations are produced independently of any monetisation: the presence of a paid product or an affiliate link on a tool does not alter the results or their ordering.

4. How links are identified

Where affiliate links exist, they carry the rel="sponsored" attribute in line with Google's guidelines and applicable transparency requirements.
